Vintage?
Never really watched all that much YTV - it showed up around the time I stopped watching cartoons. I do remember occasionally watching Squawk Box (?), which was just about the most ridiculously dumb show in the universe, but I couldn't help laughing along. They probably got rid of it because most of the humour was pretty crude. It was a sketch comedy if I remember right.

I too remember the day YTV started, when I was a child. It was like manna from heaven.
Whoever mentioned You Can't Do That On Television and Denver the Last Dinosaur has successfully named some of the vintage shows. Most of the other shows listed in this thread aren't vintage at all; I was an adult when most of them were on! How long ago was Reboot on? Like three years ago??

I used to have a huge crush on PJ Katie.
Whatever happenned to her anyway? I know she became "Jenny in the Zone", and then she had a segment called, "Pet Squad" (I loved the camera angles on that show.... right up her shorts!), but since then, she has disappeared. Can't even find her on the internet.

Man that guy has been all over TV for years! He's like a less successful Jonathan Torrens (Jonovison, Street Cents, Trailer Park Boys, and some movie where he played a handicapped dude)
I think Darren hosts MTV Live Canada or whatever it is on MTVCanada now.
I miss Buzz :/

Let's not forget Joe Schmo 2 in which Torrens played the gay-stereotype member of the household.

YTV's Saturday Morning lineup was the best in 1989. It was (including catchphrases for flavor):
10:00 Denver the Last Dinosaur (He's my friend an a whole lot more!)
10:30 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Turtles in a half-shell, turtle power!)
11:00 Dino Riders (Harness the Power!)
11:30 Saber Rider and the Star Sherriffs (In the Sky!)
12:00 He-Man (And the Masters of the Universe!)
Then it slowly turned to crap but was better again about 4 years later when they had a bunch of shows like Conan the Barbarian, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Transformers: G2, and Mighty Max.
Then that turned to crap again and it still is today.

I watched that show quite a bit during my boyband lovin' days. It was pretty much a tribute to the Backstreet Boys every week, sometimes with a little brit pop thrown in the mix.

I guess I'm a few years older than most here because my crush was on PJ Jazzy Jan, which pre-dated "The Zone". She went on to business journalism for ROB (Report on Business), but I don't think she was very good at it. Then she went into being a news journalist in Iraq for CTV and haven't seen her since.
Sugar, the tiny one with the squeeky voice I think has left, but I can't be sure. Now that Rogers has moved it to channel 60-something here in Ottawa I don't even find the station flipping around. Anyone know where I can DL her song "Real Sugar Baby"? She did it for a Toronto radio station and was never released, but I've seen it on winamp playlists, so it exists. I supposed I could sound capture it off YouTube.
Uhm.... was "You Can't Do That on Television" ever on YTV? I used to watch that all the time. Apparently Lisa Ruddy got married and she and her husband own a funeral parlor here in Ottawa. Moose is now a TV producer.
Uhm, late at night with nothing else on I would watch Radioactive, but I was really much to old to watch the show.
Samurai Pizza Cats was absolutely AWESOME. It was a parody of itself. I did find a web site that has the episodes in real media, but they were so small they were unwatchable.
And then there was that kids game show "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?". When I'm looking around my office for a document for someone, I'll open a desk drawer and say "No, NOTHING Thhheeeerrrrreeee" as they would in WITWICS, but knowing full well only my brother (who watched the show with me) would get the reference.
