One thing I noticed while making his 18/19 video and again during this one is how good he is at holding the blueline, even with difficult pucks in the air while an opponent rushes towards him. He's also a real SOB and a hilarious player to watch chirp. What a stud.
Bennett is up next before I complete another 1st line player's video, either Gaudreau or Monahan, then I envision Backlund, Gio, Lucic, Mangiapane, etc.
#### i love that little bastard.
Future Norris winner ....I'll call it right now. I love his complete level. Played with a busted foot in the playoffs and you could only slightly tell.
God I can't believe to this day the fat jokes he used to get crucified by....its turned out well for the Raz a ma Daz .....love this guy and his shirt disturbing.

The thing I like about Raz is his hockey IQ is way up there. People talked about the fitness issues when he was younger, and people see the trash talking now, but he's obviously someone who thinks the game at an extremely high level, understands what it takes to be a pro, and knows how to straddle the line in order to be effective. Reminds me of Tkachuk in a lot of ways -- perhaps not surprising that they're both sons of pro hockey players.
I'm fully expecting him to be the Flames best defensemen this year. I think he was for about half of last year and him and Brodie were the best in the playoffs. But I think he's got what it takes to step into being our true #1
Honestly, he reminds me a lot of Doughty in the way he plays and attitude, but just not as much of a whiner. Questions around fitness early that turned out to not be a big deal because their hockey IQ was so high. (Emphasis on Hockey IQ for Doughty and nothing else) plus they both like to chirp and get into it with other teams. Aren't afraid t speak their minds to the media. He might not be quite as skilled as Doughty but he's obviously got some high end skill. His vision is on full display in that video and like AC said, I've also noticed how good he is at holding the line.
He's got a bright future for sure.

Ras is a champ, I love the sass he brings. He may not be the fastest guy but he definitely hustles when he has to, nice to see those clips with him jumping off the bench just to sprint up and disrupt a solid chance
Razzmatazz is probably my favourite player on the team right now. He achieved epic levels when he trolled the Oilers the season before last. Absolutely right that he is fantastic holding the line. I'm really hoping that he takes over the prime D man position in overtime. He's really creative and while not the fastest, he's so damn smart.

I don't think Rasmus can put up enough points for a Norris but he's still a beast

I like that comparison. Always thought he was a poor-man's Doughty. If he can ever become a middle-class Doughty I will be over the moon.
Not sure if he'll ever win a Norris or even be a legit #1D. But if he can ever find his offensive game I think it could pan out (being a #1D).
