Bears fans have suffered enough over the last 20 years, so Im glad Mitch & Co are reverting to their old form before Bears fans got their hopes TOO high... would be cruel to put them through any worse

Yeah converting 550 yards of offence into 27 points was pretty inefficient. Especially with winning the turn over battle. Ended up being a lot closer than it should have been.

Vikings have to be kicking themselves for losing to the Cowboys. That loss might keep them out of the playoffs.

It bugged me when the Bears didn’t go for 2 down 27-9 but they sort of made up for it later going for 2 down 41-23.

I don't think their injuries are any worse than anyone else's. They just aren't good enough from the head coach down. They were 6-4 last season and got blown out by a 3-7 Jets team and history repeats against a 3-7 Falcons team. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets get their first win next Sunday as I've seen this act before.

What’s important now is that Jalen Hurts has been getting first team reps in practice this week. While the Eagles are shackled to the sinking boulder that is Wentz for a couple more seasons maybe Hurts can do something behind this abysmal O-line. Doubtful but it’s something to look forward to.

The latter is what sealed the deal for the league not giving them a postponement (they officially claim its because 1 positive is not an outbreak, but they've postponed for less IIRC) as unofficial punishment for the uncooperative actions and stonewalling.

And all this shook down too close to gameday for them to sign any replacements with the 6 day isolation period for any new joiners before they can practice/play w/ team.
They also only postpone games where an outbreak isn't under control, like Baltimore right now.

Yet they are still playing tomorrow....and it is not better than it was.

The NFL canceled the Baltimore Ravens' practice for Monday morning, a day before the team is scheduled to play the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Ravens are in the midst of one of the biggest coronavirus outbreaks in professional sports with at least one positive test for the past eight days. Baltimore has officially placed 18 players on the reserve/COVID-19 list in the past week and has since had three starters -- tight end Mark Andrews, outside linebacker Matthew Judon and wide receiver Willie Snead IV -- test positive, according to sources.

As of Monday morning, the Ravens are still deciding on when to travel to Pittsburgh, according to a source. Baltimore was originally set to take two planes, which would allow for extra social distancing, to Pittsburgh on Tuesday morning and play the Steelers at Heinz Field that night. But the Ravens could leave as early as Monday night because the Pittsburgh area is expected to get 2 to 4 inches of snow Tuesday.

Im sorry but it was preposterous for the league to allow the Saints/Broncos game to proceed when this one is being allowed. Obviously someone with the Ravens broke the whole "mask protocol" along the way or this wouldn't be happening. The Broncos did the same thing but were severley punished and the product itself looked like something out of a bad movie that could never happen in reality. But here we are. Terrible look for the NFL.

Makes zero sense.

Yep....every team is dealing with injuries, its just part of the game.

Obviously some teams are affected more than other just based on who is or isnt injured, but this happens every single weekend from day 1 of the season.

Im not sure what the Raiders list is like but is anyone on it even a major part of their position group? Genuinely asking.

The offensive line has been in shambles for the entire season and lots of injuries on defense but other teams have been hit worse. They got destroyed by a 3-7 Falcons team that didn't even have Julio Jones playing. No sugar coating that loss. If you want to make some money this weekend definitely take the Jets in point spread or even straight up as I think it's the lone game they can win.

Lol I will take that bet...you sound like a Flames fan. Falcons are 4-7 but many of their games probably should have gone the other way. Yesterday was a comedy of errors for the Raiders and they sucked but losing multiple players mid game certainly didn't help. It's one loss.

Lost in the monumentally bad QB play of the Saints-Broncos game and the Patriots winning with less offensive yards in the game than Tyreek Hill had after 1 quarter, the Chargers with perhaps the funniest play of the season.

It's kind of overblown as the Chargers weren't goint to tie or win the game anyways. They were down 10 with 23 seconds left.

That said Lynn is prob the worst coach in the NFL. They need to boot him into the sun asap.

It's actually 5.

It was certainly one they could not afford. The surprising thing yesterday was the complete lack of intensity. Turnovers and penalties are generally signs of a team not focused.

They likely have to win out now to guarantee the playoffs.

That Colts game is massive...and if the Ravens slide as they appear to be for a multitude of reasons, then the Raiders have a chance, but its dwindling in a hurry.

West coast team playing an early game out East is usually a pretty dicey proposition too.

Im not putting money on it but it wouldn't be that shocking to see an upset in New York next week. It's cetainly the Jets best bet for a win this season IMO.
