He's playing with University of Connecticut this year. Their season has been disrupted by COVID so they've only played two games.

Hopefully the Flames know what they're doing here. Personally I would have rather taken a swing for a higher upside player like Tristen Robins who could be a future #1C.

After playing an overage season in junior, and then 3 seasons in the minors without getting a sniff of real NHL action (despite the San Jose Sharks tanking rosters), he's now playing in the Czech league.

Not trying to beat up on you, just giving updates on some of the alternate picks at this spot.

Some of those initial scouting reports on Kuzy look to be bang on. He had all these abilities back then, but he just needed some time to grow and mature, as many bigger defensemen do.
