Anyone else see a huge Meteor to the east about 10 minutes ago.

It’s funny I saw a huge one a few years ago. It shocked me how little it was reported or how few people see it

Like 20 years ago I saw one near Falcon Lake in Manitoba. It lit up the sky and left a glowing smoke trail that slowly tapered off for about 5-10 seconds.

Scared the crap out of me at the time.

I was looking at some videos of Meteors last night, it retrospect I would go with Large rather than Huge. It didn't create ambient light like some of them do, but it did make me audibly say holy **** when I saw it. Definitely the biggest one I have seen. Pretty cool sight though.

From the best science album ever. Although they err in describing that friction causes the heating when in reality its the compression of the atmosphere that causes the heating.

I looked east, all I saw was a Sharknado in the Atlantic Ocean.
