I had Chicago Defense and Roquain Smith.
Looks to be mostly yahoo defaults.

I have to imagine there will be a house cleaning in Chicago after the season from GM down. Pace has done an abysmal job from the drafting of Trubisky to trading for that terrible Nick Foles contract as even if they cut him at the end of the season they take on $13 million in dead cap and they are already so tight to the ceiling that they can't sign their only decent offensive player in Robinson. Jimmy Graham has been a middling TE for years now and they commit $16 million to him? Plenty for fireable offenses here.

If you don't know who Jim Nantz is that's more on you, Nantz is one of the best and most famous sportcasters in the world.
He's called the NFL (with multiple Super Bowls), the NBA (including the finals), the NCAA Tournament (including championship games), and the PGA Tour (usually Sunday of the Masters).
So he's who CBS usually entrusts with the biggest moments, he probably deserves Romo money to be honest.
Honestly CBS painted themselves into this corner. You give Romo that money to call 16 games a year, then of course a guy like Nantz is going to want equal or more money when he's pretty much the lead anchor across all of CBS Sports properties.

He probably does deserve the money based on his overall portfolio but CBC has some solid PBP announcers like Kevin Harlan, Ian Eagle on staff that could probably resume that position next to Romo.

So Erick, the entire Raiders starting defense is on the COVID list. Viva Las Vegas!

Just wait till Reid and Hunt start messing with the air pressure of the ball and recording other teams practices.
I love being the new Patriots.

Well considering CBS doesn't have NBA or the NCAA, it's pretty much just football and golf and who really gives 2 craps about golf...
Romo is the star of the show. I actually look for his call on DAZN every week.
and eff him for keeping Romo off the air last week.

While CBS execs ultimately made the decision, Jim Nantz pushed for Tony Romo to be off last Sunday so he didn't work with Ian Eagle or another partner, according to sources.

CBS doesnt have the NCAA? They have about 9 Billion dollars invested in it.
And like golf (you may not care but millions do) it makes CBS a butt load of money.
Nantz is THE guy when it comes to sports for that network and does way way more of the research and such than Romo.
He deserves at least as much money, and likely more, than Romo or any other color analyst working.

Like Trans said, CBS DOES have NCAA. And Nantz calls one of the biggest tournaments of the year in the sport calendar: Final Four. You may have heard of it.

Wait, are you guys suggesting Bertuzzied has pulled a completely unfounded opinion out of his ass on a topic he clearly knows very little about? I am shocked.

Against the Bucs it was the offensive line. This week it's half the starting defense. As if the Chiefs need any more advantages. IMO this reflects a bit on Gruden as this seems to be happening more to the Raiders than other teams. I get that Nevada is a COVID hotbed but IMO he needs to get more commitment from his players to go to the facilities and go home during the season. Not sure what's in the water in Seattle as I believe they are the only team that hasn't had a single COVID outbreak which is pretty amazing.

I don't know that you can blame the coach or the players in any single instance. It could be as simple as someone going home and then playing with their kids one day. Then a week later it is discovered that the child was amongst others who displayed symptoms and voila! you have the transmission. In the meantime that player has been in meetung rooms with their position coaches and players while playing games and all of a sudden half the defense is testing positive.
Without question there are instances where player X and Y have had a total disregard for protocol and not using common sense to protect themselves/team mates but this thing is so contagious that it will inevitably find its way to someone working in large groups and then we see whats going on here.
Its just the reality of the times and even more exacerbated by the orange donkey in charge down there and his inability to understand the situation.

Neither Brown or Ferrell have kids or families. Pictures of Brown surfaced posing for pictures on the street with fans without wearing his mask. He's also the only player to date that I have heard of that wasn't wearing his tracking device as mandated. He's the 2nd highest paid player on the team and has played a single complete game and has missed more than half the season due to COVID. The guy is a complete moron but it's on the head coach to reel these guys in and get them to treat this seriously. There's a reason the Raiders have been fined more than any other team and seem to have more covid cases and it's not due to bad luck or chance.

Nantz seems like a pretty logical successor to Michaels who has gotta be close to retirement, forced or by choice. Wonder if NBC makes a run at him if he becomes available.

yeah i dont know the details about the Raiders situation, so that could be pure negligence.
/its funny though that after i posted ^^ that i was on my way to work and Lacanfora was on with the morning guys and mentioned the exact scenario i put out is how Rothlisberger ended up covid positive. Both a coach and a player each had a youngster at the same school where there was a breakout but didnt know it until they were carriers. Thats all it took and i have zero doubt that it will happen repeatedly across all sports until this thing is neutered.
