Not at all... I am just curious as to the Dealership vs private garage costs.
I accept its gonna cost money and time...
As noted, I would normally do it myself but its not in the cards right now.

On the subject of Rams....just noticed a minor issue with mine (2008) and no idea what exactly I'm searching for.
It's the climate controls. I assume there are some kind of deflectors that move the air up or down depending on how you have it set? It seems to have difficulty shifting from defrosting the windshield to directing air to the floor. Sometimes it works, other times not so much. If I have it set to blow air to my feet, more often than not it's coming out as though I have it set to defrost.
When I move through the settings, you can hear electric motors making noise. Every now and again I hear a light "thump" and then air is going where it supposed to.
No idea how to begin diagnosing this.

The issue would be with the mixing box and whatever actuator is in there that moves the flap.

Believe those vent doors are electronically actuated, with the actuator right on the door rod. The floor/panel door is the upper left, pretty sure you need to pull the dash. Remove actuator and test door for movement. If free, likely the actuator, but sounds like the door is binding, war page or debris.

My vehicle is older, and had the same issue. For me, though, it was operated by vacuum lines. I had a small leak in an easy to get at line, and replaced it for $2. But 81MC probably knows better, if it is electronic. Mine was funny, becuase it would change with throttle input. Due to less vacuum with throttle, they'd blow in my face as I went up hills, then settle back to the window on the flats.

Ya I'm a bit intimated. Not gonna lie. That's a ton of work to get air blowing at my feet. This strikes me as a deal with next spring kinda job.

Is it more bubbly? Kind of has late-90s Supra and Celica vibes.

If I go through previous years of BRZ or FRS I am blind to any of the subtle changes made. I guess it looks a bit more hatch-backy.

The back ass is awkward with the trunk shape. Whole car has a Audi TT vibe.
More importantly, did they finally get rid of the wheezy torque less boxer 4?

For daily driving, having to bag the #### out of a car to get the power out is annoying. I always felt like the first gen is a good nerf car for an 18 year old to learn how to handle a RWD sports car without much power.

the only thing that doesn't look like it has been changed is potentially the roof. every other panel is different, and it looks like a different person was responsible for each part of this design.

Yes, but it still looks like the exact same car. I'm a car guy and had to pull up a pic of last year's model to do a side by side. Wormius was in the same boat. Seems like a typical evolutionary design, so yeah, it still looks like the same car.
