Friend of mine walked into EB last week and pre ordered PS5 he was 7th in queue, he gets to pickup tomorrow.

Is there any word on when they will sell the new consoles in stores? I would imagine it will be after the holidays at the earliest, but I’m in no rush.
Gotta use those PC points on something fun instead of groceries.

Oh what?!?!
They allowed walk in pre-orders? I only tried that at Best Buy when I was there buying a laptop a month ago. They said online only so I never bothered with other retailers.

My Walmart PS5 also shows arriving at the Calgary facility yesterday but still says Monday for delivery. Hopefully it'll show up today or tomorrow.
Hm seems to be going for $950ish on Kijiji?

I'm tempted to contact a bunch of scalpers and tell them to meet me in the same parking lot at the same time and then not show up. Maybe even get descriptions of them all and tell them to look for each other.

My tracking number for digital PS5 from The Source is now active on Canada Post website, only saying "electronic information submitted by shipper"
They had originally emailed last Saturday saying it had been shipped.

i thought i lucked out this morning as i got on to best buy and had one in my cart and surprisingly the website crashed - what a joke this crap is.

Had a PS5 in my cart at ToysRus, Best Buy and Wal-Mart and every time I was unable to complete the transaction. Super frustrating. Once it is in the cart you should have 5 minutes to complete the transaction

What does the all digital mean? You can't use physical discs? Is that the only difference between the two?

Yeah, no physical discs and digital purchases only.
No, the S is also poorer graphical power than the X as well. At least I think so. I don't know anymore with their stupid naming.
