I would love to learn more about that "Boot-Skate" logo. Any chance of that being used in the future, or has it been killed off completely?

Did Popowich and his team also come up with the "Corral Series" idea? That was fantastic!

I'd love to know why after finally going full retro they've kept the previous red jersey on as our 3rd jersey this year despite a very vocal fanbase expressing their dislike for it over the last 13 years.

They want to sell what they have left in stock, easier to sell a currently used jersey.

I can 100% see that being the reason and 100% despise that reasoning

Ryan Popowich elaborated this in his interview with Scorp.

Ken King was a huge fan of those jerseys and the Flags being used as shoulder patches. Story is the league didn't want the Flames to do it but King won the battle and he wore it as a bit of a badge of honor.

Ken King passed away right around the lockdown last season and I'm sure they would have liked to do a bigger ceremony for the guy with fans in the building.

I think that jersey sticks around as a bit of a tribute to him and to be able to wear it when they do eventually celebrate his life.

And the flaming C that they supposedly dislike so much appears on the shoulder...You can just make out the corner of another patch on the chest - not enough to really tell.

In all seriousness, someone was unsure about it, and it was my report... I have the transcribed quote around here somewhere. I never actually published that bit in any article.

Edit: here's the full quote on that C from Popowich.

So yeah, I wouldn't expect to see that logo popping up anywhere anytime soon.
This aged well....

I’m just kidding obviously and appreciate the intel. But, I wasn’t expecting to see it on the shoulder the next day!

If the crest is blasty, it looks like they've swapped the outline from white to yellow, and the black to white. Curious to see what they did with the rest of the logo, or if that's the actual logo.

i just hope they have the front logo higher up. my biggest complaint with the flames adidas jerseys is the the front logo is too low on the jersey

And I'm on the other side. Based on what we've seen and what's been speculated I have a feeling the white C is going to clash with the scheme.

Guess we'll find out on Monday.

Why is the person modelling this wearing a red hoody? It's throwing things off a bit.
My guess is Blasty is going to be tweaked in some format. White C on shoulder, white names, white numbers and maybe a mostly white or black Blasty.
