I've had numerous games miss release dates with Amazon in the past.
I personally now never pre-order with Amazon because of it.

Amazon tends to be the worst for Video Game pre-orders in my experience - games and consoles.
Best Buy used to be the best IMO - but I feel like in the last 18 months they have been slipping in this regard.
Walmart seems to be hit and miss.

Not so sure about more demand in Canada but It sounds like there will be less PS5 consoles available compared to Xbox.

Mine still scheduled for Thursday before 5:00pm. I'm guessing this late in the game there's not going to be a change. So Thursday *might* be a good day...XBox delivered and maybe snag a PS5 from somewhere.

The series S, as I understand it, has three flaws compared to the Series X:
1. No disc drive
2. Lack of “real 4K” (can upscale to 4K but the tech nerds I know claim it’s slightly worse than the 4K on the XSX)
3. Smaller storage (500G compared to 1TB)
It will still be significantly better than the Xbox One.
If you’re still on PS2 then you’ll notice a significant difference either way, and the Xbox One will still be a viable option for a few years at least.

My Xbox Series X from Walmart is suppose to come on Friday. It is coming by UPS (Ground) from Ontario for some reason. They don't have a warehouse in the west?
