I really hope this is a bit of under promise and over deliver. Hard to wait another 9 or 10 months.
But, this is all very promising.

The actual concerning part is that 40% of people believe COVID can be defeated without a vaccine. Though even then, it could... in theory... but the level of lockdowns or deaths required to make that possible is probably not one many people would agree to.

Who would get priority in Canada? Has there ever been something like this before?
Front line health care workers? People with risk factors (age, medical conditions, etc)? Who decides by what process?

As Canadians continue to make changes to their lives to bend the curve, including wearing masks and social distancing, some question whether a vaccine in even necessary. Four in ten (40%) believe that we can beat COVID-19 without a vaccine. This proportion rises to half (49%) among Quebecers, and is also higher among Albertans (46%, vs. BC 38%, Ontario 37%, SK/MB 30%, Atlantic 28%). More than half (53%) of Millennials agree that a vaccine in unnecessary (vs. 35-54 42%, ,55+ 28%), while just under half (46%) of men also agree (vs. 34% of women).
This is however not the belief of the majority; six in ten (60%) disagree that we can overcome COVID-19 without an effective vaccination.

That might be ok though. The generations older than them can get the vaccine and we can vaccinate our younger children. We can get everyone else vaccinated faster without them in line.
Then we’re all safe while the Millennials go about their lives getting COVID one by one. They can develop herd immunity in their group without wasting money on vaccines for them. Might have to have a denial of healthcare law for Millennials that officially chose to deny the vaccine.

I have 3 millenials, all falling toward the tail end of the age range. Every last single one of them will get themselves the vaccine once it becomes available, as per discussion with them. They tend to be on the opposite end of everyone else when it comes to millenials, almost need a new name for them because they don't ever follow the typical pattern of most other millenials.

"They said the vaccine was being distributed out at the 'Country Kitchen Buffet' but we're here now and all they're handing out is blindfolds and cigarettes...."

Just tell them that they have to provide vaccination records to go to restaurants.
The desire to post pictures of their lunch on Instagram and leave Google/Yelp complaints for every tiny mishap will make them want to get vaccinated.

FYI
Q3 is the third quarter of the year. July, Aug, Sep.

I haven't been keeping up with the stereotypes. Are we expected to refuse the vaccine or something?
Seems like a no brainer thing to do.
