All the talk about him pardoning himself - isn't the power to pardon only granted towards convictions? Trump isn't likely to be convicted of any of the (potential federal charges) until after he is no longer president so is there some way he could grant a conditional pardon for future convictions?
There's gonna be a few comedians that may have to actually put in work now to be funny.
SNL writers won't be able to parade Alec Baldwin out for every cold open and just have him repeat what Trump said.

An accepted pardon means that you have pled guilty to the charges.
Personally, I’m looking forward to things actually being funny again.
Comedy seems to have devolved into one of two things - a competition to out-woke each other, or a race to the bottom to say the most repellent, dehumanizing #### imaginable.
Let’s try and get back to the magic act.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper was fired in a tweet on Monday, as President Donald Trump went after a top aide he blamed for not supporting him sufficiently.
is that an 'oiler level' firing?!?!
what's worse - getting canned over skype or twitter?

Trump will be vindicated. Not only will he win, he will win a large majority. All the voter fraud will be exposed. Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania will all be RED.
Trump will expose the Dominion electronic voting system. The Dominion system magically has been used in Canada as well, including in the leadership voting for CPC and Liberal Parties of Canada. Used in Canadian elections as well. Don't believe me? Google it, its all there in plain view, or keep your head in the sand. When the fraud comes out, will/should we question our own election integrity? Absolutely!
Supreme Court cannot legally get involved in the federal election until 10 days after the election. Nov 13. This will go all the way up to the Supreme Court. Supreme Court is 6-3 conservative leaning. The legislatures in each of these states is Republican, and the legislatures will make sure this goes to the Supreme Court. Legislatures decide how elections are run, not governors.
Democrats/Liberals will cry, like always, use terrorist groups BLM and Antifa to incite massive violence and unrest when the truth comes out.
The media doesn't decide who wins the election. Please refer to Gore/Bush in 2000. The media declared Gore the winner, however 37 days
later, Bush ended up winning after it went to the Supreme Court. Google it.
Biden and many congressman, senators, etc. will be arrested (both Republican and Democrat).
For 4 years all we have heard about is how "Russia interfered in elections." Now, this election wasn't interfered with? Shouldn't there be transparency on the voting if there is nothing to hide? The irony of it all is hilarious. Funny enough, magically the voting has stopped? How can it be declared, by the media if it is not over? Do you not think it is a little bit weird that we are on day 6, and magically they are still "counting"?
Suggestion, turn off your TV and think for yourself. Read a little bit on history, instead of the stupidity in this forum.
Enjoy the fireworks, I know I will.
Prediction: Trump is still the President until January 2021, and will continue to be thereafter.
Don’t tell people to Google things. Google is in on it.
I realize the crazy has already been called out, but this is one thing I've seen posted over the last couple of days that needs to be addressed...

The controversy began on election night, November 7, 2000, when the national television networks, using information provided to them by the Voter News Service, an organization formed by the Associated Press to help determine the outcome of the election through early result tallies and exit polling, first called Florida for Gore in the hour after polls closed in the peninsula but about ten minutes before they closed in the heavily Republican counties of the panhandle (in the Central time zone). Later in the evening, the networks reversed their call, moving to "too close to call", then later giving it to Bush; then they retracted that call as well, finally indicating the state was "too close to call". Gore phoned Bush the night of the election to concede, then retracted his concession after learning how close the Florida count was.
Bush led the election-night vote count in Florida by 1,784 votes. The small margin produced an automatic recount under Florida state law, which began the day after the election. That first day's results reduced the margin to just over 900 votes. Once it became clear that Florida would decide the presidential election, the nation's attention focused on the manual recount.
Yes, early on election night, based on exit polling and previous history, the AP did call Florida in Gore's favour. That call was reversed later in the night and Bush was declared the winner of Florida. Gore even called Bush that evening to concede. By the morning after the election, Florida was in the "too close to call" column and Gore took back his concession (which has no legal bearing anyway).
I don't believe any of the news agencies ever declared that Gore had won the Presidency, and if they did, it certainly didn't survive election night itself, let alone 37 days.
The idea that everyone thought Gore was going to be President for over a month until the Supreme Court changed the results is just pure fantasy.

Thanks for this. I remember this distinctly the way you just described it, and you can always see this in the film Recount if you want to torture yourself.
