Not one mask in the group Wonder if he'll laugh when Biden shuts down his church because of covid? He might have to dig into some of his $300m that he swindled from the dumb followers to survive.

They've had a Secret Service detail from the time of the primaries (perhaps even earlier).

It's not something that was put into place at/post election day.

Yikes. And they said this guy ran for Congress or something? Scary.

Direwolf, I get the feeling watching this rally they're working themselves up enough to get to the point of violence for sure. Sounds like this is the beginning, not the end - as it feels in the media and on the left. Now, let's end with a prayer invoking WW2 and fighting for freedom LOL. Wow, a whole lotta praying. Actually, if you'd like to read some of what I'd being said, you can read Michelle Bachmanns 5 points of prayer to prevent the stealing of election here : https://villagersfortrump.org/prayer...hele-bachmann/

Good luck y'all! Anyone have any friends down there loading up on ammo and weapons? Seems normal hey? Bueller?
I have to say, it becomes somewhat exhausting constantly hearing how people on "the left" need to be the adults, and need to be nicer, and how Trump is their fault etc etc, when there are people on the far right who are actively advocating going to war with the rest of the country and are the responsible for the vast majority of terrorism in the US. There is a problem with the wide, mainstream conversation being had, and we need to come together, but things like this need to be snuffed out entirely.

I really do hope it is all bluster, because these people are writing their own death sentence. The people responsible for encouraging this should be put in jail.

I knew that, it's just that security became so much larger seemingly so fast. No fly zones over his house were put in place pretty quickly, etc.

Exactly the same here in IL.
We got 10 - 12k covid problems per day, but getting tested definitely not one.

I’m still stuck on Four Seasons Landscaping. It just makes me laugh. It’s maybe the highlight of the entire presidency for me, although there are a number of hilarious moments.

I may have spoken too soon, as now a Trump appointee doesn't want to approve resources for the transition.

Why would anyone in the congregation need a mask? He already used his preacher powers to destroy COVID-19

Good grief. I know we've joked about it a lot in this thread, but it's actually starting to look like the Secret Service will have to go in there eventually and physically remove these a**holes from the White House. And while that would certainly be entertaining to watch, it's just sad that it might actually come to that.

I’d literally pay to watch that if it was on pay-per-view. The revenue could go to homeless housing or sone other good use.

I know it was mentioned that the Political Gabfest had a guest on that suggested sending different electors was a non-starter, and the Lawfare Blog had an article on that as well, but it still makes me feel a bit better when a PA Senator comes out and says it will honour the law and send electors as per the vote result.

https://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2020...-popular-vote/

Quote:
On Friday, State Senate majority leader Jake Corman said Republicans will honor the wishes of the voters.

“Our role is to monitor the process, our role is to provide oversight and call out questions where they might need asked, but certainly want to stay with the tradition of the popular vote winner getting the electors,” Senator Corman said.

Corman says the vote is certified by the state and the governor appoints the electors.

Both sides had to have transition plans written and submitted a long time ago.

If they just shut the White House down and do nothing until inauguration, that's not nearly the worst scenario I could imagine. I'm pretty confident Biden is already vastly more equipped to fulfill the job description of President than Trump or anyone in his administration.

I suppose, but having the federal government sit in limbo, effectively, for three months in the middle of the worst part of a pandemic seems pretty not optimal.

Say what you will about GWB, he was always willing to surround himself with smart people and listen to their advice, may have just been a bad judge of their motivation. Clearly someone drafted the letter and told him he was an important figure in the Republicans conceding, and their concession was important.

True, but it's an improvement to Trump spending the previous 3 months actively making it worse. (and it's more like 2-2.5 months until inauguration)

The best case scenario is basically, "go play golf, Donald. We'll let you know if we need you to sign anything."

One can dream.
