Eetu Tuulola assigned to Västerviks IK
Likely the assignment is only until NA pro hockey starts up again.
Surprised there haven't been more announcements from the Flames though.
Calgary Flames @NHLFlames
The #Flames have assigned forward Eetu Tuulola to @VasterviksIK of Sweden's HockeyAllsvenskan league.

Get these kids playing. I like it. (Assuming Allsvenskan is doing everything safely)

I hope he excels in this league. He needs to be a great player here to show promise for the nhl. I sure hope he goes all in

Kid has a lot of great physical attributes. Skating may keep him out of the NHL though.

I remember watching him at the U-18s and hoping that the Flames would draft him-played a real NA style, drove to the net a lot.

Teams around the league have been sending their prospects overseas to get playing time. No big deal.

Two years left on a ELC. He'll be back whenever Stockton starts up again.

Both 6 round picks, I guess?

Tuulola and Vasterviks have ended their loan agreement. Tuulola had 2g and 2a in 11 games played.

Seems like roughly AHL level? Maybe a bit below. Backlund was about 0.5 ppg there in his 18 year old season. He went back during the lockout in 12/13 and beat up on it to the tune of 30 points in 23 games.

AHL NHLe is about .4, Allsvenskan looks to be about .36 NHLe, so its a little lower but close.
4 pts in 11 would translate to about 3-4 in the AHL and 1-2 in the NHL.
Not super great for a 22 yo, budding NHL prospect... but its also a small sample size
