Sorry, I was wrong about this. They counted 30k yesterday. They have 63k remaining and they're doing two data drops per day. I can't imagine this going much longer though.
Also, Trey Gowdy is a moron.

There is no question that the Republican ground game is far superior to the Democrats'.
I wonder though, how much of that is due to the fact that the Republican machine is... how can we put this... less morally restricted?

It's funny the only real gun jumping so far was the Arizona call by FOX and the AP. PA isn't swinging back to Trump, only question now is 100,000+ for margin or not.

Most big cities lean Democrat, my guess would be Mobile, Alabama. The largest city in that state and they love Trump there.

I'd like them to call this just so I can get some sleep tonight.
I'm not exaggerating when I say I haven't slept more than 3 or 4 hours a night this entire week. This is really taking a toll on everyone living in the States. The sooner they call it the better.

That's a pretty strong candidate.
What's interesting is that the other larger cities are mostly blue. Birmingham, for example, voted 55.7% for Biden, and Montgomery voted 65.1% for him.
The problem is, rural Alabama is crazy out of control racist/deplorable and love Trump. Most rural counties voted for Trump over 80%, and some as high as 90%.
Ugh...America really is two nations of urban and rural people. I don't know how we fix that anytime soon.

I missed the discussion from a couple pages back, but Biden wasn't handed the nomination in 2020.
He was the only centrist candidate with a shot after SC, so Pete and Klobuchar both dropped out after poor showings. He beat Bernie pretty convincingly on Super Tuesday and the rest is history.
His entire run for Presidency has been kind of amazing. He basically did nothing in the primary except put his name on the ballot. Won the nomination after losing Iowa and looking mediocre going into South Carolina before hitting a homer on Super Tuesday.
Essentially did the same thing in the general election. Stayed close to home due to covid and never barn stormed the country like Trump.
He put in the minimal effort of probably any Presidential campaign in modern history and is looking to win convincingly.

It’ll take a President that can relate and/or work well with both sides.
Frankly, both of these candidates aren’t that so voting was essentially picking your poison.

The cognitive dissonance is real. Sheesh.
If Republicans can't work with Biden, then I don't think they can work with anyone. His whole platform is about reaching across the aisle and governing all Americans regardless of their party affiliation.
"pick your poison" indeed.

That'll be Trump's new thing. "Look at all the books being written about me. Only the best books. Nobody has seen books like these being written ever. They say the publishing industry will be bigger than the Internet because of me. Obama never had books like this. Sleepy Joe won't get books like this. Paper. Shelf. Writer. Book. Pen. Rudy is reading me a new one tonight."

I think the answer is covid.
Democrats think it's a big deal, so they drastically reduced their in person electioneering like doorknocking, new voter registrations and rallies.
Republicans think it's a hoax, so they did their regular amount of doorknocking and voter registrations and some, even if reduced amount of rallies.
In 2018, Democrats got out the vote in person and there was a blue wave.
In 2020, Democrats went almost exclusively virtual and the blue wave didn't happen.
Let's see what happens in 2022. I think we'll see Beto and AOC and Obama and Abrams holding high energy rallies and energizing an old fashioned ground game. I think the Democrats retake the Senate in 2022.
