I mean I get the "this doesn't cure America" takes, but come on, from a purely selfish standpoint aren't almost all of us happy that the orange pig ####er is now suffering the ultimate humiliation? America has been broken for a while and it's got a long way to go (if it even can be salvaged), so at least getting to see the incoming meltdown can give us a bit of enjoyment.

what would it take to get biden to come out after he's won and say something like:
"mr president, the people have spoken... YOU'RE FIRED!"

The “Hanging Chad” fiasco from that election took weeks.
The timeframe isn’t unusual for an election. There are lots of states who aren’t finished counting it’s just they leads are substantial and the outcome known. California is only at 77% counted. Tiny Alaska that is most certainly red hasn’t been called yet and is showing as 48% counted. 3 days and they aren’t half way done? The difference in this election is the turnout and the multiple close races which has put the spotlight on counting speed.

As much as we'd all love to see that, and as cathartic as it would be, I very strongly suspect Biden will take the high road during both his victory speech and his inauguration by thanking Trump for his service to the country, etc., etc.

I can think of a few more. Twitter bans him! That would be worse for him than losing the election.
Melania snuffs him with a mypillow in his sleep.
Barron changes his last name to Clintbama.

"Ultimate Humiliation?"
Its neck and neck. This is just sad.

Thats not quite right either.
It’s not up to the moderates to hold Biden’s feet to the fire. They got what they wanted in getting rid of Trump. The argument from moderates to progressives was that progressives need to vote for the lesser of two evils them progressives need to hold Biden to account.

It's ok to take joy in a step toward recovery even if it doesn't fully solve the problem. Nobody is dusting their hands and saying the US is all fixed now.
America still has a lot of cleaning up to do, but it was never going to happen without this coming first. Just be happy the orange goblin and his brigade of rat****ers are close to being gone and likely facing a massive legal turdstorm. And we won't have to suffer another 4 years of wondering what kind of horrible criminal activity and/or global destabilization is coming next.

Some interesting contrast to 2016. In 2016 Trump won the election on the back of Wisconsin (22,748), Michigan (10,704), and Pennsylvania (44,292). He won the electoral college with 306 votes. Spring forward to 2020, Joe Biden will win the election on the back of Wisconsin (20,534), Michigan (146,896), and Pennsylvania (projected 100,000). If Joe Biden maintains the states he leads in he will win with, wait for it, 306 electoral college votes.

Nope, no pitchforks for Biden, it’s a very satisfactory result overall.

It's too bad that this election came down to mail-in delays and conspiracies. It's just a timing and perception thing. In the end, it's almost a landslide. Biden will win states by a wider margin than Trump did in 2016. For example, Biden is going to win Michigan by nearly 200,000 votes. Trump won Michigan by 20,000. Georgia is the only exception.
Biden also rocked the under 30 vote, which is a good thing.

Holding Biden’s “feet to the fire” is a perfectly reasonable and expected thing to do, as long as it is for reasonable things. For example, making fun of his stuttering or an occasional innocent misspeak would not be reasonable. Blatantly lying or taking the “wrong” position on an issue of course would be. It still remains all about context - the flood gates are not now open.

Talk about clueless. Mr. $5-$10 Lindsey Graham donated $500k to the Trump Legal defence fund. hahaha

Trump will the thought leader on Parler. Trust me, conservatives are going to abandon twitter in droves and head over to this alternative platform. They need their own insulated bubble and Parler is designed just for that.

Nah, the opening sentence was “I see no reason to celebrate this”. Absurd. Like coming into a post game thread after the Flames moved onto the next round saying “no reason to celebrate, the ultimate goal still isn’t achieved”. It isn’t even taking an opposed view to anyone. Just #### posting.

Republicans delayed counting where they could so they could create the "stealing the election" narrative. They just didn't predict it would be multiple states instead of just PA, so once they had to both want counts to end and also continue they were ####ed.
