Oh jesus CNN, just punt Rick Santorum off your channel. He's a friggin embarrassment.
Not to defend Man-On-Dog, but I honestly like his back and forth with Van Jones for the most part. Gloria Borger is much more obnoxious.

He has been civil and pleasant. Even though I roll my eyes at most of the things coming out of his mouth, I am glad they have a Rep on the panel for some balance, and he has done a good job, IMO.

I definitely like having a Rep on there, they should. When he starts bringing up the 'only if they're legal votes' garbage he just sounds like another Trumper. Just have a conversation about what's going on. No need to parrot Donald.
But that is exactly my point. Florida found a way to count mail in ballots in a quick and efficient manner. It is unacceptable that other states cannot do the same.
But regardless of the early counting, it is still completely stupid that they can't count 100k ballots in less than a hour.
If it needs more people, hire more people.
Also, aren't the mail in ballots verified with a computer? Or is some dude actually sitting there are making checks on a ledger?
Florida started counting in October and used a lot of voting machines for in-person votes, of course they're going to be done sooner than places that started counting on election night.
And ballots in the US aren't like the ones in Canada. In Philadelphia for instance, each ballot has to be checked for votes for President, House seat, Auditor General, Attorney General, Treasurer, State Senator, State House Representative, Judiciary elections, and 4 different ballot measures.
I definitely like having a Rep on there, they should. When he starts bringing up the 'only if they're legal votes' garbage he just sounds like another Trumper.
Couldn't disagree more. Everyone should only want legal votes to be counted, and the response should be, "yes, we agree, and that is what's being done." Then there will be an argument about whether the post-8pm votes in PA that have been segregated are legal, and there will be court battles to determine that.
Parroting Trump would be talking about stealing the election, rampant fraud, etc. He's done nothing of the sort.
And here you have me explicitly defending the guy, who I think is a grade-A #######, just to put that on the record.

Democracy Now! co-host Juan González says “a false narrative” is taking root that Latinx voters were primarily to blame for the weak Democratic result. “The main story is that people of color, especially Latinos, flocked to the polls in numbers that far exceeded what the experts had expected, while the total number of votes cast by white Americans barely increased from the last presidential election,” says González. “How come none of the experts are asking why white voters underperformed the Democratic Party?”
Quote:
So, the real underperformers in this election were white voters, who not only did not have a qualitative increase in their vote totals — they dropped from 71% of the electorate to 65% of the electorate — but they voted in an even higher percentage for Trump this time than last time or than they did for John McCain in 2008. And this is especially true among white women. So, now, how is this possible, given the years now of sexual — of allegations of sexual assault against Trump, his denigrating of women, his family separation policies, that white women increased the percentage of the vote that they gave to Donald Trump? What’s up with that? Why are all the commentators not dissecting what the heck is going on in white America and with white women in America? Unfortunately, it seems to me, looking at the numbers, there is no gender gap. There’s a racial gender gap, in that African American and Latino women are voting so overwhelmingly for the Democratic Party, but not white women. And I think that needs to be analyzed more.

He has been better than some hickface deplorabales CNN has had on the past like Kayleigh Mcbackup, Paris Dennard, Jason Miller, and Steve effing Cortes!
