No one has called Michigan. I just think it'll probably happen this evening.
Well, yeah. If the election is called, things are pretty much over. He needs to implement his "stop the vote" strategy before it gets to that point.
Now, I'm sure he'll still try to get things overturned, as he's said he'll do in Wisconsin, but that becomes much more difficult when you've got a declared victory and a declared margin. It's extremely unlikely that Wisconsin gets overturned on a recount, for example.
Things seem to be trending in the correct direction.
Biden with a GOP Senate that hopefully remembers life before Trump might be a good thing for the US the next 2 years.
Trump didn’t change the GOP, and the results of this election essentially condones their behaviour over the last 4 years so they have no reason to change course. There’s still too many Americans who believe in what they’re doing.

Do you believe children should vote? If not, there has to be an entry point. 18 works, if the voting public wants to move that line to 21, or 16, or 12, or whatever, that changes nothing. Children aren't given the right to vote until they achieve a certain age. Then they have it for life.
Trying to equate that to removing the right to vote, is a brutally false equivalency.
Should we remove the right to vote for people with mental health issues?
Please tell me where we should draw the lines on restricting freedoms.
Not really sure what you're talking about, my point was that voting is already restricted based on age. You can argue how valid age-based restrictions are, but comparing it to restrictions based on mental health is wonky.
Isn't your post, suggesting you don't care if they move it to 21 (thus removing the right to vote for people 18, 19, or 20) just the same as some arbitrary number in the 80s or 90s? You don't care if they remove it from young people, but you find it unconscionable to remove it from very older people? That doesn't make sense.
I think it's valid that people who will experience the majority of an upcoming presidential term as tax-paying adults should be able to vote.
If you leave aside the implications for democracy and the general descent of the American character, the current state of affairs is just fascinating. If there is such a thing as slow motion riveting, this is it.
That's right out of the Bush campaign's 2000 strategy to take Florida. The infamous "Brooks Brothers Riot" if people remember. This time they're not quite as well dressed, nor look quite as smart.
