Wow... I'm not a parent yet, but what do you do? You see your son injured, and the ref isn't stepping in quick enough, yet jumping in and involving yourslef in youth sports isn't the way to go.

I'm sure when I got injured in hockey, my dad's first thoughts were probably to jump over the glass. Physically involve himself in the play... not likely.

I agree, it's gotta be tough for a parent. I don't know from experience yet either, but no doubt when your kid is out their in what you percieve as danger, animal instincts kick in at times. Human nature, what a wonderful thing.

Looked like 'roid rage too me.

I would hope there's a lawsuit. Unfortunately, since it is the good ol' USA, there will probably be 2. One for the father tossing a kid and another by that same father suing the ref and the association for not seeing the illegal move which caused him to act as such.!
