That’s true. That’s not a speech you give if you think you’ve won the election.

Well folks, with that historic and entirely predictable shocker, I think we can safely head to bed.
Let the carnage begin.

Shhh, Nik will get on your case about that. The proper response is many said this would happen.

I hate "I told you so" in any fashion, and in this respect this was a projection from people that knew the count, so to speak.
But enjoy this. Your pessimism radiates, in the best way that can be said.

People are saying they've never seen so many voters at the booths - mostly, and I hate to say it - illegals voting at 4AM, 5AM. In the morning, can you believe it? I asked, did you ever hear of such a thing? And anyway, we have to stop it people. The voting.... The voting is what got us into this mess.

Chris Wallace, paraphrased: "He hasn't won these states. No one is saying he's won these states. He doesn't get to say he's won these states, the American People do. States routinely count votes into the day after and it may go on for days. There's no question that these states can continue to count votes for days."
At least that message is getting through from him, because Baier completely punted. ####ing hell.
I mean, for ####'s sake, when Ben Shapiro won't go to bat for you...

Words are not enough because words don’t restore a standard of living
Even if Trump won’t actually do anything for them, he at least articulates their angst and points it at his opponents

I couldn't have said it better myself and how I feel personally. It is perplexing how they don't get this. Even some basic marketing and messaging could do them wonders.
"Defund the police" Sounds wild!
"Stack the court"
"Looting isn't really all that bad, its a symptom of another problem"

"We're going to protect the integrity of the vote"
also

Everything about those two is hypocritical.
Trumpites should hang their heads in shame.

Does this guy not have people that will tell him not to say insane garbage? Why would he say that?
I know he says a lot of dumb stuff, but that was dumb even for Trump.

I wonder how quickly some of their personalities jump on board with this being very legitimate claim to victory at this point.

Sadly, it's who they are now. The Divided States of Trumpistan. I honestly expected this would be a landslide for Biden, and that the country as a whole would soundly reject Trump's divisiveness, authoritarianism, racism, and jackassery. But I was wrong. A lot of us were. The America we once knew is long gone.
Unfortunately for Canada, we're forever joined at the hip with them, so we're just gonna have to get used to it and figure out a way to accept what they've become. Never thought we'd ever be living next door to a banana republic, but here we are. What a time to be alive.
