As a counterpoint, the polls in Minnesota appear to be exactly bang-on. How does that correlate with polling in WI and MI?

I am expecting Trump's speech to begin with two solid minutes of flaccid, throaty screaming.

I bet they had to have a debate in the Trump camp tonight:
1. We might actually win this thing again: we should wait until the votes are counted and claim our rightful victory!
2. We say it's rigged, broken, unfair, and challenge everything in court and disrupt the counts throwing everything into doubt.
For Trump, this is a legitimate conundrum.

I know a lot of people on the political thread hate Trump but if this was a hockey analysis, in 2016 the Democrats missed the open net to win the game. It's not over and we don't know the final result but we are looking at a scenario where a top seed team keeps losing to a lesser opponent and people need to figure out why.

I think for all the talk about policy and character, it really comes down to not having a candidate who is boring or looks weak, and that goes for both parties with Kerry, mcCain, Clinton, and now Biden.

Are you suggesting that trumps base causes chaos? Or is this so obviously not true that green text isn’t needed?

Yes, I’m suggesting a portion of Trump’s base may cause chaos.

So interesting to see those that come from a socialist promise fairytale that found a new opportunity in Florida, despite their race, vote for the ‘racist’ because they see the fraud on the other side of the isle. Must be pretty terrible grass in the other side of the fence if Cuban Americans vote for someone so openly racist against them.

A lot of Cubans in the U.S. are descendants from supporters of Fulgencio Batista who was right-wing, pro-American dictator. They were from the elite class that was persecuted by the Communists and had their wealth removed.
The Republicans were traditionally harder on Cuba's communist regime because a lot of wealthy Americans also lost their Cuban holdings, therefore many Cuban Americans were brought up to support the Republicans.

I'm starting to think that Trump is worried that a speech at this time won't get high enough ratings, and that it would be better to just tweet from the can at 3 in the morning, then give a speech bang-on 9AM in the rose garden.
Edit: Well, guess not. Game on...
