Trump is leading in those states because the small town rural votes are much faster to count than the big city urban votes. Also, the early votes, which are expected to heavily favour Biden, also haven't been counted yet. This is the exact "red mirage" scenario we were all warned would happen.

Basically I was expecting Trump to be making this speech, and I was expecting him to be much less clear about whether or not he was being "optimistic about his chances" or explicitly saying it was over.
At least Biden held back a bit. But "we're going to win Pennsylvania" is a pretty bold statement. I certainly hope he's right, but... yeah.
