He's actually down by 2 million but California will absolutely flip that, only 10% of CA results in so far and almost nothing from Washington State.

I am pretty sure you can hand over Texas, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina at this point.
It's going to come down to Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, two of which we might not know the results for a couple of days.
I am thinking Biden still wins Arizona.

C"mon, why does this have to be this close? How are people voting Trump? Like, how?
I generally can understand the other point of view, even if I don't agree, but this election is wow... just wow.

Go to bed. It’ll take days. There are a million mail in votes to be counted in Penn they only started today, and they’re overwhelmingly for Biden.

Exit polls showing Trump with 40 per cent of the Latino vote, up from 35 in 2016. People have all sorts of motivations for how they vote.

Washington State will probably have close to 4-5 million votes as well.

They weren't off. There were a couple late polls that showed a close race, but the majority of polls showed a 6-10 point advantage to Lady G. South Carolina as a state was always up by the similar margin, which is why you look at both the state and senate races to find consistencies in data. Graham winning is not a surprise because the data was pretty consistent. The problem is RCP's blended polling which gives too much weight to individual polls and ignores the state numbers.

Trump wasn't supposed to win in 2016, yet he did.
|
I posted this a month ago to the ridicule of many who did not share that view, yet here we are...again.
2020 results are coming in and this is what I see on many people's faces:
To the surprised Pikachus here, Trump's America somehow defeats logic and the polls...again...but that's what happens when reddit and the MSM are where people constantly base their views on and fail to acknowledge the predominant American demographic. Yet here I am, completely unsurprised by the results we are seeing.
Can we finally lay to rest archaic polling methods at this point? No matter the remaining outcome right now, it's safe to claim after 2 straight elections that polls are absolute bollocks and a huge waste of air.
I think we are seeing Trump 2020 folks, but should Biden win he will likely win with a very slim margin. I think we could see a president elected with less then 275 delegates, a farcry from the landslide loss claims from many here even from earlier today. Either way, I have my popcorn, this is surely chaotic.

Trump made a big push with Florida Cubans that Biden would bring in Socialism. In America that term equates to “communism”, not what Canadians (or the west of the western world) thinks of as “social programs”.
If you’re a Cuban expat family, you don’t vote for a communist.

Minnesota's looking very good. As in, not just a narrow win, but a fairly comfortable win. Like everywhere else it's too early to get too optimistic because who the hell knows what the last 46% are going to look like but the reporting so far has been encouraging.

California just starting to report. In 2016, Clinton got 8.7 million votes to Trump's 4.4 million. I expect similar results this time, which will push Biden over easily.
