well if the voters wanted them they would exist, nothing stopping the Socialist Workers Party from winning the Presidency either other then not a soul who would vote for them.

Think Joe is regretting telling Ohio and Penn that he is shutting down Oil right about now? Either an arrogant statement from a guy who thought it wouldn’t matter, or proof they went all in on identity and green politics.
Dems need to learn how to court, not lecture or they aren’t getting an easy ride back to power.

North Carolina is staying much closer than it looked like it was going to be. It's now looking like it might be a sub-100k vote difference at night's end, and that's one of the states that accepts mail in ballots 3 days after the election (subject to the SCOTUS shutting them down).
So notwithstanding Nate Cohn, it's actually looking like a non-impossibility that that one ends up being a good result after all.

So Trump is almost 400,000 votes ahead in Florida?
Why are they not calling the state?

To show the impact of the mail-in vote, Arizona is a big mail-in vote state and it has been pre-counted. Currently, with 72% in, Biden has a 9 point lead and Kelly has an 11 point lead. Not saying this is going to hold, but this is the mail-in vote impact being seen.

Can someone distract us from the current reality and briefly explain what would happen in that situation today? (exaggerated responses encouraged).

Trumpism isn't dead and won't be for a long time. The Democrats do not have an answer. Doesn't mean they won't win, but they are going to win because of Trump's massive incompetencies and failures, not because they had better ideas.

What % of those are in the states that actually matter?

It may be difficult for Canadians to fathom, but many Americans fear socialism more than they fear things like racism and bigotry.
The path to the Whitehouse for the Democrats is NOT to move further left, it is to solidify the center, IMO.

Yes.
It’s also Nov 3, 2020 today, for those who aren’t keeping track of any of this.

Are you saying there's going to be 20M to 30M more total votes this election?
|
Predictions are there will be 140-150M votes cast this election. Some have even suggested 160M was possible. With only 66M votes being counted so far, that means there could be 80-90M votes hanging out there.
