If Covid is the defining issue of the election (and it may not be, let’s be fair), it seems extremely unlikely that the record number of ballots cast and unprecedented levels of voter engagement are because people think Donald Trump is doing a bang up job.
Especially with polling remaining rigidly consistent throughout the campaign.

There is probably some confusion because some are reporting as is, and some are reporting what is coming.
NYT needle as it has 77% chance of winning for Trump.

Beyond the margin of error, or am I reading that wrong?

Trump did well in the Venezuelan and Colombian neighborhoods as well throughout Florida.

The margin of error is meaningless at this stage. The question is where the remaining, yet-to-be-counted votes are from geographically, and how many are in-person votes.

Trump to steal Virginia? That would offset Ohio.

Apparently there a pipe burst in the largest county in Georgia, which has caused a counting delay there.

Fox News has already called Virginia for Biden, so that would be pretty weird.
Also, Ohio has a long way to go. The early returns are favourable.

Lol the NYT site when votes are added the numbers don't just change, they go up one vote at a time very fast.

A Biden win tonight would be almost as satisfying as an Oilers playoff loss. Almost.

John King is great. Biden is not underperforming in any county in Ohio.
