Very nice! If I was to make any amateurphotographer type comment, it would be maybe taking the photo a little lower to the ground? Regardless, a great shot.

It has been figured out, thanks though. I figured since there was a mac user lurking in the thread anyways I'd ask how he/she did it.
You're not an ass, you're just not very smart.

No.
Southwest of the city . . . and west of Okotoks.

I did get lower for a few shots. . . . . different look. Too much lower and you eliminate the farm across the valley as well as the depth of the valley itself. Not as dramatic on a downslope in this particular case. Lower to the ground can be more dramatic on an upslope as below:
It's all subjective of course. Also, I don't want this to be a thread hijack.

Did you not read my message? There was a mac user in the thread. It really couldn't get much easier. Thanks for your input though. It was well worth the time.

The photo was taken in London on the last night of my trip last summer. There was a police raid across the street from our hostel. It was about 4am.
Those widget things are neat. I just downloaded them. So, thank you to all those who posted their widget-riddled desktops!

If you click on that like light switch on the dock it opens up system preferences, from there go into 'dashboard and expose'. Read that little blurb at the top of that window...tells you about what expose (hot or active corners) can do. Each corner can have a different function. The "all windows" one is sick...changed the way i use my computer. Set one ofthe corners to that, open up a bunch of windows and go to the corner you picked. Then watch in awe!

That's the only hot corner I use too. It's awesome. So much better then having to hit F9 and makes getting around different windows super easy, fast and cool.

Here's my desktop on the laptop I use:
To get the black task and title bar simply Google "Royale Noir" to find the instructions.
