I’ve wondered this a lot with respect to the aircraft but also the use of the White House for partisan events. There should be reimbursement for the aircraft and use of the WH looks sketchy if not illegal.

No he isn't. Dude is leading in just about every poll, including most of the battleground states. He's also in a better position heading into election day than Clinton was in 2016. Is he the ideal candidate? Not really, but nobody is. The ideal/perfect candidate doesn't exist. The fact remains, right now in this current climate he's the best chance to defeat Trump.

To put things in perspective, Biden's current polling lead per 538 is not only greater than Clinton's lead in 2016, it's also greater than Obama's polling lead over McCain and Romney when he quite comfortably won two elections in 2008 and 2016, respectively.

The eye-test shows all of the enthusiasm and momentum on Trumps side. Car parades miles and miles long. Floatillas of thousands of boats. Tens of thousands of people showing up at the more than a dozen Trump rallies in the last week. 58,000 in Pennsylvania alone.
There's an awful lot of chicken counting in this thread, but all I see are eggs.
