[GT] Halloween 2020 - COVID Edition
Who is hosting Trick-Or-Treaters tonight. We have the yard all setup, I built a candy delivery slide out of PVC, and handing out mini chocolate bars. I have my mask and disposable gloves on to put people at ease.
12 kids so far!

Pretty busy in our area. We just left two big bowls out and I’d say about two thirds is gone
Probably around 50 kids

56, more than other years by about 50%. Did full size and suddenly regretting that decision.

For Halloween tonight we had a great turn out! I built a chute, and wore a mask. I’d say 95% of the people I saw, kids and parents, were wearing face masks in addition to costumes.
Great to see so many neighbours and kids outside being social and having fun.

When should one call it a night? Do you guys set a time or just wait for the numbers to drop, kinda like timing microwave popcorn by the dwindling pops?
I'm at 6 kids as of 7 (Pacific) and they were all in one big group.
My current plan is to giveaway kid who shows up before 8 about 20 candies, and if there are none, I'll just abandon the bowl by the door and let the teenaged stragglers clean up.

One group of 6 kids.
That it so far.
I was out for a bit during the most prime time, though. But might not have missed anyone anyway.

Usually 9:00 for us.
I’ve had a number of the accompanying parents thank me. I think it is good for the kids to have some normalcy during a difficult time.
