It sucks.

Maybe. Maybe not.
There are a few ways where the Republicans rush to get ACB on the court will end up backfiring spectacularly.

What an incredibly childish and petty tweet. Typical GOP.

Backfire how? They know they're about to take an electoral beating. This has been their goal for 3 decades, I'm sure if they were given the offer for this at the cost of sitting out a term or two, they'd take it.
They did it. They won.

Yup, this is the GOP's ultimate wet dream come to life. Say goodbye to the ACA and probably Roe v. Wade as well. Granted it'll take a bit of time to roll back all of the progress made in the last 50 years, but eventually conservatives will get exactly what they've always wanted. Make America 1950 again!

It won't take as long as people think imo. I bet all those lower court appointees are just chomping at the bit to force an appeal based on Roe v Wade starting tomorrow.

And then President Biden expanded the court, the end.

This finding is somewhat wonky and administrative in nature, but it matters because it will allow Federal judges to do things like this:

This would apply to mail in ballots that don't get to the vote counters in time, which is a possibility because of the significant increase in mail in votes this year, along with the deliberate sabotage of the US Postal Service by the Trump Administration.
Unless I'm misreading it, I don't think this wording could cause ballots that are received and "in the queue" to be counted, but don't end up getting counted until after election day, would be disqualified.

On the other hand, Jello Biafra, Henry Rollins and Greg Graffin hate Trump and never shut up about it, so it kind of balances it out.
The Sex Pistols were sellout poseurs from the beginning anyway.

And as much as the Misfits are still in my regular rotation, Danzig has been a diva for a long time.

So really, nothing changes? I can live with that. We've been handling this on our own for quite some time now. What's a few more months?
