Am I the only one who finds it weird and suspicious to find “emails” on a laptop hard drive? You could look at my laptop hard drive right now and I don’t think you’d find any emails unless they are in a temporary cache. I’m no expert but I don’t think that is how emails are stored....

Shhh, don't call into question my computer buzz words, or I'll send a firewall your way and it will ruin your RAM.

People of Rudy's age refer to a computer as hard drive. They also power off the monitor to protect said hard drive from getting a virus.

If you use outlook, as most people do who have a work email account, they're stored as pst files. That said, why a computer repair place would open a customer's laptop and rifle through their old emails, or why the customer in question would leave that data unsecured, is a different question altogether.
Anyway, this is definitely the sort of thing that would appeal to r/thedonald, if it still existed, so at least they know their audience.

Not really. Any mail client is going to save emails to the hard drive. And if someone did actually have a clone of a Mac's system drive, it'd just be a matter of booting it up on another computer and looking through the mail app.

The whole thing is crazy. No, it is unlikely you are going to find "emails" on a computer, especially since so many interests are using cloud based services where there is no client on the computer. Even if there was a client on the system, you have to gain access to the file that holds the data (.pst/.ost for an Exchange based system for example). To gain access to that you would have to have appropriate credentials or administrative access to load the data through the client. It's not like emails are sitting around in .pdf format waiting for anyone to access them. It should also be noted that most large organizations, especially those with security concerns, employ full disk encryption so instances like this don't happen, and that dropping your computer off a third party repair center like this would not lead to anything but the most basic of repairs. Actually accessing the drive would be impossible without very advanced equipment and processing to crack the encryption.
Another thing about this that is sketchy as hell is the guy was supposed to be repairing the equipment, but he instead snooped around and was gong through the files on the customer's computer. That is highly unethical and illegal in some ways, depending on the data. The fact that he made multiple copies of the hard drive, and then shared them with multiple parties, is also sketchy as hell. This guy pretty well just ended his business and opened himself up to lawsuits. Who in their right mind does this stuff... unless its a setup? This is such a series of contradictions that it really makes no sense in any shape or form.
Now back to Crazytown where the implausible supposedly happens every day.

A preemptive prayer to all of you who will for whatever reason suffer through tonight. It's gonna be godawful, so hopefully it's at least quick for everyone.

So along with the mics being cut, there will also be sheets of plexiglass between them as well. This is gonna drive Trump nuts, and he'll no doubt be extra unhinged tonight.

None of it makes any sense. This Bobulinski fellow is apparently quite sketchy as well.
Some stuff coming out that he was ordered to pay 600k last week. If true, this whole thing is going get really silly.

I know the first thing I do before sending a hard drive of info to the FBI is make copies of it.

You can watch Borat early instead of the debate. They released it 7 hours early.

This is the worst take in your lengthy history of bad takes. You are literally taking the opposite stance from reality, as all evidence points to the emails being fake, including extremely implausible provenance, poorly forged content and politically convenient timing of discovery. Do you even know what the word "evidence" means?
Try using critical thinking in the service of ascertaining truth, and let go of whatever other method you are using that impels you to chatter reams of nattering nonsense. You are making all contrarians and skeptics look inept with your thread terrorist hijacking. Please stop and find a new archetype to imitate, preferably one that lies more within your skillset.
Thanks in advance.

My experience of when a new foster kid moves into my house is if he is really worried about whether his bedroom door has a lock is he is a thieving little ######bag, that's pretty much my take on these 'emails' this is a campaign run by a amoral crime family who have used their position to shake down millions from foreign and domestic sources, of course they would assume that everyone else would be the same and throw out that accusation

Only the first question and Trump is already lying his ass off and making a complete fool of himself.
Oh, and that awesome Trump vaccine is coming soon and the virus is going away, so no worries.
