Yeah it doesn’t work as well as the one that kicked this all off.
I wish we’d use the Atlanta “A” for a game or two.
Not like the A doesn’t also work for Alberta.

No way.
Blasty is amazing. You don’t make it your primary logo, but it has its place in the Flames line up. It’s like the mask logo in Anaheim or the kachina logo in Arizona.

I was in elementary school when Blasty was first revealed and I'm over 30. I think most people that love that logo (or at least have fond memories of first seeing it) are in their late 20s to mid-30s.

I wore a Roman Turek Blasty to game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals, and during every game of the 04 run.
I was 14.
Still have the jersey at the bottom of my closet.

I’m in my late 30s and can’t stand Blasty. It’s an ugly logo that reminds me of a dark time in franchise history. That said I understand some fans love it and I’ll try not to whinge too much if Blasty returns.
Also to the posters who have worn the black Blasty jersey to the C of Red:

I’m well over 30. And I love blasty. I understand it represents a tough time. But I love it because it’s so different. It should’ve never been worn as a primary jersey ever. It should’ve been a few times a year thing. But that jersey should make a come back for a couple games a year.

Honestly I think this is the best way to use Blasty. I love it as a shoulder patch.
Maybe this jersey, but with straight lines and not the ‘V’, and if we want to be different with the crest they should use the old Flaming A as mentioned above. That would be fantastic.

Someone may have mentioned it, but what is a "Reverse Retro" and how does it differ than a normal retro jersey? Both the Penn and Flyer ones look pretty standard to me? I must be missing something.

The colours are reversed from the original designs. The original Pittsburgh jersey that design is based on was black; the white and black sections on the Philly jersey were reversed on the original.
