I learned from watching Superman IV that you just don't go rewatching some things you enjoyed in childhood, don't disturb the nostalgia.

Therefore, the ewok spinoff movies are, and shall ever remain, epic masterpieces.

For kids movies, there was some dark stuff. Mace getting trapped underneath the magic pond was pure nightmare fuel for anyone just learning to swim. And watching the lights get snuffed out one by one on Cindel’s family life monitor bracelet at the start of BfE was kind of heavy for a young audience. That’s stuff even the most recent movies are reluctant to do.

And it had Wilfred Brimley, that guy is nightmare fuel on his own.

There is going to be a new Mandalorian trailer premiering during Monday Night Football tomorrow. As usual, I'd expect it to be on YouTube immediately after.

I wonder if we'll get our first look at Ahsoka?

Oh . . . . my . . . . god.

Jetpacks man Jet packs.

No sign of Ashoka though, or Sasha Banks.

I maintain that they should've passed the torch to new capable writers if they were signing off but instead they selfishly took the fire escape after season 7 on a show that was largely built on a beautifully executed slow-burn approach.

Pieces of crap chased big paydays instead of giving the best work their names have been attached to the wind down it really deserved.

It was more than just them. I get it, I do. But everyone on this show had been at it for a decade. I know it was only 8 seasons but it was a decade of work.

Everyone was done.

I understand that it sucked that they just wrapped it up in a seemingly lazy way, but what can you do?

Mandalorians aren't exactly popular with the Rebels or New Republic, and we still have the Imperial Remnant chasing them.

I loved the effects that they showed, I would think they got a budget boost this year. Crushing the Scout Trooper against the cliff side was a bit cruel, but they must pay for kicking the baby.

And this is fine. Its what we've all been saying forever now. This is a big, interesting universe. Lets explore some of it that has nothing to do with the Skywalkers, the Jedi, the Galactic Government, etc.

Everyone hates the Mandalorians. Until they need them. Cool. Its this band of highly capable outcasts who realize that the Galaxy is a big place and follow their own code and do their own thing.

Thats interesting. Lets go with that.

But so help me...if they introduce a Skywalker or Jedi I want The Mandalorian to shoot them in the face in the first 10 seconds and then move along.

I won't mind a Jedi presence if they're obscure and have nothing to do with the main saga.

It would be refreshing to see a band of Jedi existing outside the knowledge of Luke/the rebels/resistance playing a minor role to do with baby Y.

But I mostly want to see a showdown with OG Fett and the dinosaur man bounty hunter.

I'm really hoping that they don't mess around with the lore in terms of the Jedi. There weren't a lot of survivors. Kenobi, and Yoda were prevalent, guys like Kanan stopped being a Jedi after order 66, and basically hid, Ashoka in her book was the same way "I'm not a jedi I just want to be left alone"

Even after the fall of the Empire it sounds like Luke took his own sweet time in establishing Jedi training.

I'd rather have very few to no Jedi showing up. Except Ashoka.

For some reason I love the Lego franchise thing, mainly because Palpatine is such an over the top jerk.

I didn't think I'd like it but I liked it. Looks like fun.

How many are voiced by the actual actors? Lando sounded legit.

Palpatine obviously isn't but this lego personality of his is pretty fun.

Based on imdb, Lando is voiced by the original actor, yes. So are Rose and C-3PO. The others listed on IMDB were all involved in the cartoons.

Thought I'd post this, the video of the making of the last fight between Ashoka and Maul using Ray Park and motion capture.
