I think you could see 4 NFC West, 3 NFC South and 3 NFC North teams with better records than the NFC East Champ. Imagine being 11th in the conference and hosting a playoff game lol.

And the only reason there wouldn't be more is because they play each other and someone has to lose.

I mean... I wouldn't be shocked by the end of the season if even the Vikings and Falcons were a tough call as between them and these Cowboys. Good lord are they bad.

Who are they going to get who could realistically be better? I mean you can have Trubisky for a song but I can't see that going well. Brissett? Is he any better than Dalton? Mariota or Jameis would probably be even worse.

I don't think there's a fix, other than Zeke stops fumbling the ball.

EDIT: WAIT. The obvious answer is Alex Smith. Sure he probably won't be any good but at least people will be rooting for you.

Depending on the cost Darnold might be worth getting for Dallas. But really they shouldn't be giving up any assets right now, they are a bad team no matter who the QB is, need more talent at many more positions besides QB.

The Cowboys offensive line is also trash right now with the injuries. So I don't think anyone is going to QB that team to more than 5 wins right now.
