What about Riley Sheahan as a 4th line PK specialist. Sounds like he was the engine that made their PK. I know he is left shot, but has some size with 6'3" 215lbs. We seem to do well with Oiler cast offs.

Nashville, Boston, & Columbus were all rumoured to have a lot of interest in Hall and have the open cap space.

Hmm...
Forsberg and Jarnkrok for Gaudreau and Ryan?

Eric D speculates in The Athletic that the Flames could be interested in Ekman-Larsson, even with his self-imposed deadline gone. Among the reasons are Flames management's familiarity with him, and the fact that one of the reasons he liked Vancouver was the presence of Markstrom.
Of course, Calgary does now have a heavy Swedish contingent.

Nashville trying to improve their left-wing depth doesn't work if they trade Forsberg.
But I do that as a Flames fan. Save nearly 2M in cap for two years while arguable who gets the better players.

There's no way of making room for OEL unless the Coyotes take back two major contracts though and that's not going to end up a good deal for Calgary unless Arizona adds a lot.

Powerplay Quarterback

Character guy who can play on the PK, sure sounds like Trevor Lewis to me. Right hand shot, can play all three forward positions, good skater, has a couple of Cup rings.

They’d have to take back Lucic in that deal wouldn’t they?

IDK Lucic might not mind spending this season in the desert/west coast USA and not trapped in Canada

It's more of a shakeup move for both rosters than outright improvement for either. But agree, I am not sure Nashville would be motivated enough.

It would have to be Hanifin for ekman Larson at half the salary retained.

This trade is pretty much a complete wash for cap
To Coyotes: Hanifin, Bennett, Lucic, 1st (lottery protected)
To Flames: OEL, Dvorak, 3rd

OEL himself said he will not waive after FA opening day. All this OEL talk is wasted brain usage and hogwash

Eric D isn’t usually one to write stuff that is wasted brain usage and hogwash. It likely came from somewhere for him to write it.
It isn’t an Eklund or Francis rumour.

I’m not sure Nashville would move Forsberg...I feel like they kind of want to take one last shot with him as this core.
I think starting point would be something like
Arvidsson: 4 x $4.25M - RH Swede that we can add to our collection
Fabbro: 1x $0.925M - RH Dman that really would be a nice piece to add to the backend
Picks (if needed)
For
Gaudreau - $6.75
Flames save about $1.5M. Downgrade on wing with a RH shot but pick up a long term piece on defense. And with the cap savings might be able to pick up a veteran 3rd line wing on a cheap UFA deal.
Tkachuk-Monahan-Lindholm
Mangiapane - Backlund - Arvidsson
???? - Bennett - Dube
Lucic - Ryan - Gawdin
Gio - Tanev
Hanifin - Andersson
Valimaki - Fabbro
Kylington

No way the coyotes retain any on that contract.
Hanifin, Ryan and a 2nd. Throw in a B prospect.
