Ottawa making some strong moves. They might pull put of the basement.

The Senators made the right decision to go back to their original logo and colours.

This signing is probably fine, and probably won’t blow up in their faces.

I think I’d take perverse pleasure in taking Eugene Melnyk’s money.

Wow I like this move a lot for Ottawa.

They gotta figure out their centres but right now their forwards don't look half-bad.

These are the kind of moves they need to keep making. Since they have stated they will win the cup within 4 years.

I don’t think the Flames will have a chance to add a UFA Russian until we have at least one other Russian player as a regular on the active roster.

Although he complemented Barkov and Huberdeau well, Dadonov looked pretty pedestrian with everyone else. He also gets banged up quite a bit.

That said it's a decent deal for Ottawa.

Hopefully, Stützle is a centre

He also broke his arm recently which required surgery.

Yeah that's definitely what they're hoping for and he'll probably get a chance to be "the guy" as soon as this year. I think they see Colin White as their 2C this year, he's certainly paid like one. Tierney and Norris probably round out the centres.

Still, having these guys as your eight NHL wingers isn't bad at all:

Tkachuk
Dadonov
C. Brown
Batherson
Watson
Paul
Anisimov
L. Brown

Tierney is headed for arb and may command in the high 3s. But he’s maybe better than White. Norris is pretty untried. I wonder if they’d look at Ryan.

They're one of the teams mentioned when people talk about an internal cap - so maybe nothing?

We'll probably see Owen Tippett given a bigger role in Florida this year. They already went and got Hornqvist.
