Wow Season 7 of The Office is so bad. The show has lost all previous charm and humour. There isn’t even a coherent story or theme over the season, it’s just a bunch of random stuff hoping something with stick. I definitely understand why Steve Carell left, this is a sinking ship. Speaking of Carell, they couldn’t even give the viewers a payoff to make his departure feel meaningful or emotional. Adding Will Ferrell in possibly his most annoying role ever didn’t help.
Should I bother finishing the next two seasons or just skip to the finale?

The addition of James Spader as Robert California gave the series some renewed life. He's just so weird in that role, it's great. Gives the show a very different tone as well. Also, Zach Woods as Gabe provides lots of good moments.
It's a step down from the rest of the series to be sure, but there's still plenty of worthwhile moments if you're a big fan.

My daughter and I just finished watching Stranger Things(I had seen it originally) now she's asking if theirs another show we can watch together. Any suggestions on what would be appropriate for a 10 year old, that is somewhat similar to Stranger Things?

Maybe Goosebumps? It’s weird that the Friday the 13th series has popped up on streaming anywhere. I guess there is always X-Files, too.

I wouldn't recommend it either for a 10 year old either.
I had a hard time following the show and the 3rd season took it to another level of confusion.

Castle Rock wasn’t too bad, if I recall correctly.

Well....other than half the town gets murdered. When they made Season 2 I was stunned there was anyone left.
If you were one of the lucky few to not get murdered why would you still stay in that crummy town?
On the off-chance that so much murder had happened already that surely there could be no more murders? And then Season 2 happened...

You make it sound like a bad thing. How else do you keep property values down and also maintain the quaint bucolic qualities?

German, yes. Subtitled, for sure. The voice actors are horibad.

Flipping through my DVD's and found the two seasons of Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicals. The quality of the first year is amazing, even the second year was very good.
Thanks a lot Fox you are the serial killer of good shows.

I wish there were more shows like this. Stranger Things is not the best show on TV, but it is the most perfect. Hamilton is the only other show that our entire family made sure to watch the day it was available.
I can’t think of another show that you and your daughter would enjoy as much. My daughter is 15 and we watched Dark. By season 3, she was losing interest (and so was I frankly). At 10, I doubt your daughter would enjoy it.
Just thought of a show. Season 1 of Heroes was excellent. I never did watch any of the other seasons as I heard they were bad. But it is very self contained.

Show was great, even though I'm not a fan of Lena Headey. Summer Glau was fantastic, and I really enjoy the acting of Richard T. Jones, too.
The finale with Brian Austin Green in the house was great.

Yeah no. Steve actually wanted to stay on. The network didn't think the show had legs when its following was just picking up. They basically let him walk.
There are good eps in the final seasons. And the last couple episodes are particularly good/funny. But yeah the rotating door of cast may be off-putting for some.

I'm really enjoying The Outsider on HBO.
Stephen King Mystery/Drama. Awesome horror themed soundtrack and an intriguing plot with well placed cliffhangers to keep you hooked.
Nice fix for Halloween season.

Get ready to be massively disappointed. The first 2-3 episodes were awesome, the rest is a steady, slow-moving faceplant.
