Nice signing at that price. Prior to last season he had 16, 17 & 17 goal season with the Rangers.

Yes. He has not been nearly as advertised but he's a fine third-liner, I guess.

There is something to be said about giving our home grown talent the opportunity (also cost controlled). If Alex comes in here and lights it up likely we wouldn't be able to afford him anyways. If he did come on a PTO and earned a spot then it is what it is. Id be OK with a PTO.
