Nashville has been awfully busy purging cap space and have been tied to Hall. It would make sense.

Yes, I’d say that Nashville is now the most promising landing spot for Hall.

How does Poile have the leash to unload on another FA after Turris and Duchene?

Nobody knows yet, really. Hall was supposed to narrow down his list sometime today.

If I had to guess, the teams now are: Calgary(homer pick), Boston, Montreal, Nashville and Columbus.

No one knows the teams involved. Nothing but speculation.

The Flames are as much in on this as the Preds are as the Jackets are as the Habs are as the Bruins are. All linked by Friedman prior to free agency - but there has been no leaks since free agency started.

There is no one connecting Hall to Calgary, we all need to move on. It isn’t happening.

I get the sense that we are out on Hall. Just doesnt make sense after giving Tanev such a big deal. They prioritized getting a #1 G and RHD (rightfully so), and I speculate that they've kicked some tires around Hall and make a somewhat competitive offer, but ultimately fall short on him. My guess is Hall goes to Nashville.

I don't think he wants to play in Canada and wants to be away from the spotlight.

Speculation on Hall is that he wants the opposite of this. Wants to be in the spotlight in a hockey market.

He turned down more so he can bloat his stats playing on the PP with McDavid, where he could potentially become a 70 point guy. Then next summer cash in when there is less economic uncertainty.

Barrie betting on himself doesn't make me wrong.

I'm going to go ahead and say 'he turned down an offer of $6M' is at best a giant smudge on the facts, and at worst an all out lie.

No player is turning down $6M to play for $3.75M.

Do players turn down more money sometimes? Of course. Whether it be for family reasons on where they want to live, or in order to get a no trade clause, or for a particular opportunity.

But he ain't turning down $6M to play for $3.75M. This is Staples dilusio-ganda

I wonder if Hall is even considering Calgary, or if Calgary even reached out.
I also wonder if Tre reached out to Pietro's camp and just got shot down quickly.
