I'm going to approach this with cautious optimism. I don't disagree that Markstrom was good in Van. But every year the lost of top ten goalies is fluid. Six more years tied into a 31 year old who does not have even have six strong years on his resume is risky.

So to sign Hall you need to make a move or two.
