Haven't seen the terms, don't know for sure if this is done.

But man do I like a 5-6 year deal at a reasonable cost for Markstrom more than 2 years of Kuemper and not having Connor Zary in the system.

Yeah, there is no way IMO that we get him under $5 million AAV.

Likely closer to $5.5 AAV.

Anyone else experiencing 'Treliving Free Agent Signing' nervousness?

Did we just sign the Troy Brouwer or James Neal of Goaltending? Or hell...Brian Elliot?

Treliving has an atrocious Free Agent track record.

He did that.

Good.
I'm a little confused why it would be a good thing that our gm doesn't care about the longterm effects of the deals he signs? Straight back to cap Jail, Treliving is a repeat offender at this point.

There was no war for those guys. If Treliving is dumb for pursuing Markstrom so are a bunch of other GMs.

Lol, GM's of every single team look like idiots every year with FA signings. This isn't a rare thing.

Why does this have to be such a long drawn out process?

Every other signing was done quickly, with confirmation and numbers/term released right away.

Here we're twisting in the ####ing wind still.

"Confirmed"
"Not yet"

Jesus anyways.
