I would hold off celebrating until we know the ink on the contract is dry, it's registered with the NHL Offices, and we know the details.

Age doesn't worry me too much... Goalies are different. Kipper was 28 when he came here I believe.

If done. Wouldnt be surprised to see rittich moved put. Cant see an emotional guy like him being a backup. With marsktrom its not a tandum duo. Its a starter and backup situation.

I think the issue with Vancouver was that he would end up getting traded or picked up in the expansion draft. He wants a guaranteed #1 and no move.
