Land Down Under by Men at Work (or Men Without Hats)?
I had to cheat on Troutman's song though.

I tried to call you before but I lost my nerve.
I tried my imagination, but I was disturbed.

Well, Shawnski, got the easy ones: (highlight)
1 - Dexy's Midnight Runners - Come On Eileen
2 - Greg Kihn Band - Jeopardy
10 - Thomas Dolby - She Blinded Me With Science
A couple of them I don't think I've heard before. 11 and 12 for me were the same clip as some of the others.

They are in fact all different songs (re: the 11 and 12).
You did get the three correct however! Well done. And like I said, some are easy... some aren't!!! Wait until Jiri finds this thread. $10 says he gets the rest of them!!

Gimp, you are correct. Might want to "white text" it as Sparks was so kind to do so no one inavertantly sees the answer!
Four down.... More to come. Have to give kudos to Hack&Lube (I think) as I searched this site for rippers and it was mentioned that Audiograbber was a good one. Did some research on it and started ripping my rather large CD collection a week ago.... 1200 songs later... awesome product, especially for freeware. Was kinda funny that Reg asked about the "Da Da Da" song as after going through 3 boxes of CD's THAT song was on the second to last one I had ripped!!!
Great thread for fun, and I will post some more as I continue to rip tunes. Should have the next dozen posted tonight as I find ones that are perhaps a bit more recognizable to the general masses.

Name That Tune (continued)
Wow, Shawnski, you've taken us to a whole new level!!! Keep up the good work (i.e. MORE please!).
Unfortunately, I'm about as computer literate as a turnip, so typing only the lyrics is all I can do. How about a tribute to a few of the "great" hair bands (song and artist, please).
"Most streets where you live, girls talk about their social lives"
"Do you trust in me? Patiently I will stand by you, I will stand beside you faithfully" (this is, in my opinion, a toughie)
"Going down the only road I've ever known. Like a drifter I was born to walk alone"
"Walking hand in hand, love letters in the sand, I _______ _______ (song title)"
"We are strong, no one can tell us we're wrong" (OK, she HAS hair)
"Saw a picture of your house, and you're standing by the door, it's black and white and faded and it's looking pretty worn"
"Girl, you're looking fine tonight, and every boy has got you in his sites"
"At the drive-in, in the old man's Ford, behind the bushes, till I'm screaming for more, more, more"
OK, that's it for now

I thought I was going to dominate this. Despite being only 23 years old, I am such an 80s fiend that I have no friends.
But yes, the obvious ones people picked I know but some of them are really short synth clips, it's hard to put my finger on them.
#6 sounds like a Psychedelic Furs tune but I'm not sure right now. I'll come back and relisten once I get my stupid WMV codecs fixed.
