With what cap? If they sign him I hope they pay through the nose and then can't find anyone to take any of their bad contracts and get stuck over the cap.

Losing out on Markstrom and getting Holtby would probably be one of the top 5 blessings in this franchise’s history, up there with Iginla for Nieuwendyk, Kipper for a 2nd, and Johnny for nothing but a 4th.
Holtby has SIX seasons better than Markstrom’s best season, and he’s four months older.

Im thinking the goalies go today. Too much meat and everyone's gonna want to snap the best ones up.
Ranking wise I have them:
1.Markstrom
2.Holtby
3.Khudobin
4.Crawford
5.Talbot
I dont include King Henrik because he will be a Capital.
I dont mind Crawford or Holtby. And then Talbot if all else fails.

Nobody’s perfect. Every goalie has off years, and Holtby doesn’t have any significant injury history.
Oh, and he won a Stanley Cup two years ago with a .922. He didn’t forget how to do it.
The dude is trending towards a Hall of Fame career.
