The "big difference" is without a doubt a NTC offer. Canucks don't want to lose Demko, Flames and Oilers have nothing to lose.

If the rumors are true and Markstrom has zero desire to play in Edmonton, ypu have to think it doesn't matter what they offer him. Its likely Calgary or Vancouver for him. Or Colorado if they dive in.
