Obvious first want is Pietro, I don't think it is possible though. I think he ends up back with the Blues and if not there he is a Leaf. Next is Markstrom and I think that happens. I would prefer Barrie over Brodie because I think he fills a role we need more which is a premiere PP QB. What would be really nice is both. If we could add Markstrom, Barrie, and Brodie I think this team has a serious chance to do some damage.

This would be my best scenario. Unfortunatly I don't think the flames will be able to bring in both Hall and Markstrom. Weeks ago I would have said they have a great chance . Now i'm not sure they will even land one of them. Seems to be a lot of teams on Markstrom. ALso have been runours of teams clearing space to try and get Hall. Think there might be a bit of a bidding war for those 2.

I’m sort of excited for what happens after a different team sign Pietrangelo.
If the Leafs do, is then Nylander available?
If the Panthers do, is Ekblad?
Very excited as I feel like they land one of Markstrom or Hall. Love Hall but would prefer the goalie if I had the choice for this current roster.

I want no more than one defenseman, and preferably I want that defenseman to be Brodie.
I don’t not want Markstrom, but I also believe in Holtby and that he can bounce back.
Finally, some RH forwards that aren’t crap would round it out. Perry would be ideal.
And if the Flames do land Hall, I want at least one season of all three of Gaudreau/Tkachuk/Hall.

And if the Avs add a couple high end guys on short term deals the rest of the league is in trouble.
Vegas is finally bent over the barrel right now...oh wait, here come the jets to save them! Now is the time to take advantage of teams, not help them.

I don’t know if they saved them as much as took advantage of the situation. Adding Statsny makes them a better team, and it’s a temporary hit to Vegas.

I want Hall for under 8mill/yr so they can trade Gaudreau for help elsewhere in the lineup. Markstrom worries me with his age and the bidding war for him will probably result in a scary contract, but the Flames need to something to improve the goaltending. Pass on Brodie and Barrie, both are going to be overpaid.
