I want Hall more than any player in free agency - ever. Guy is my favourite non-Flame in the league. I really want that hometown player signing here, it would be perfect - and it would give this team such a boost.
Markstrom is THE goalie on the market. Failing him, I want some sweeteners from Vegas and MAF. I don't want Talbot, or Greiss, or Holtby (I'm just not a fan), or any of these other goalies on the market - and I will lose so much excitement for this team if Talbot does in fact return.
I really want to cheer the Flames with Hall and Markstrom on the roster next year.

G: Markstrom if Van doesn't trade Demko to Arizona, else Kuemper.
FWD: 2 of: Rieder, Leivo, Bobby Ryan, Perry, Pitlick
And honestly...if prices are crazy tomorrow as they usually are...I am ok with that.

Actually right with you on Taffoli. I think he could thrive on a team that needs another good right hand shot. I also think hes off the radar a bit media wise but I seriously doubt hes off any GMs list.

If the #Canucks are to re-sign D Chris Tanev, they may have to outwit a couple ���� teams in #Flames #Jets, as well as #Penguins, where his brother plays. Dark horse team to watch is #Leafs (his hometown).

Why would we bid on Tanev to be a #1 goalie? I might be wrong, but I think that would be a huge mistake
