We took Zary, then Barron, then Neighbours, then Perreault - I could have seen the Flames taking any of those 3 guys if Zary had been picked.

Well Mony was 6th overall and the leading goal scorer of his draft year...Zary is way higher ranked than Dube was at the time

Ridly Greig goes to Ottawa. I think Sanderson was a bit of a reach at 5 (not too bad). But Stuetzle and Greig are both fantastic selections.

Ottawa is going to be really interesting to watch in the next two or three years. They have a lot of young talent right now, a bunch of money for free agents or trades and a big pile of prospects this draft.

For the way I saw them ranked, Ottawa taking Ridley Greig at 28 is the biggest steal of the draft so far. He is going to be a great player for them.

Some rankings had Perreault higher. Always interesting to see 5 years down the road.

I'm sure if Mercer was available at 19, they would have kept their pick. I'm just happy they drafted a Center
