Just wanted to log in to say what's with all the Blaster bashing? I read this thread for NHL trade and rumours. His or her posts are very thought out and lots of effort are in them. I just wanted to say I enjoy your posts so I'm not sure all these little drive by posts bashing you are warranted. At least you put effort into your posts and I enjoy the read! Anyways enough off topic for me

They're excellent posts. This thread has just gotten super heavy on the Canucks content, partially because Blaster is on blast and I guess there's not much Flames news. It does seem like a third of this thread is about OEL to the Canucks (except for the other garbage from earlier today).

Varlamov started the year as starter but Grubauer took over around the all-star break and that's when the Avs went on their big run.
He didn't have any injuries but was starter down the stretch and for the playoffs.
This was his first season as starter and had an ongoing groin issue that started pretty much from the start of the year and was aggravated multiple times, still played 39 games.

Just dont want to hear Canucks discussion every third post or so. Even when the discussion has moved on to different topics and teams, there it is, another Canucks post. Annoying. Lol.

Which we don't care about because OEL sucks. The only thing that made the blast of Blaster bearable was knowing that a guy that sucks as bad as OEL would be going to a team that sucks equally as hard.

David Pagnotta tweeted out a rumour discussion video where they speculated about the Flames signing Hall and then trading Gaudreau in a package around Sanheim from Philly. Not a name I've heard suggested before.

Yeah The Fourth Period has had the Flames being very busy for a while now, and have mentioned Johnny. First time I’ve seen Sanheim come up.

I think one of the reasons we’re being linked to Barrie (and haven’t re-signed Brodie yet) is that they are back to trying to fill the lineup with RHD on the right side, and LHD on the Left side. Not an absolute mandate I’m sure, but I think where they can do it, they prefer to do it.
