I guess I'm in the minority but I love that acquisition cost for SJ. Shrewd move for short term vs making a big commitment to a UFA goaltender.
Comparatively, Flames paid a good deal more for Mike Smith coming off a similar regression.

Dubnyk. 50% Retained. For scraps?
I know Minneapolis has been slowly sliding into the 7th circle of Hell for some time now but....this seems like a slam-dunk win for San Jose.
