An Injury free game from the Pens? Not a chance!! Gonchar gone for 3 weeks...Michalek returns but Koivu, Chelios, Dumont, and now Gonchar are all on the IR!!

Despite icing a full lineup the team showed heart tonight pulling off a 6-5 OT win. Vybouny played very well with Spezza as that Duo led the team to the win! Day off tommorow, and the Pens will not practice for fear of injury!

Just when it appeared the Avs may have rediscovered their stride, they take a beating at the hands of the Isles. This team could be in trouble.

Congrats to the Nords. All good things must come to an end as the Habs' 8 game winning streak was squashed by a great performance from Roberto Luongo. 39 saves on 41 shots. Vokoun was pulled after allowing 5 goals on 21 shots. Overall a frustrating night for all the Habs as Luongo showed why he's the foundation for the Nords.

Good effort from the Kings on the road against a tough and unpredictable Lightning team. Briere and Modano with nice games. A wild second period with the Kings getting 4 goals on 8 shots. Kings get a bit of a rest before a tough stretch ahead.

Gotta say the injury stretch Goffie is going through is really quite an amazing run of bad luck.

Thanks for all the kind words...

What can you say about Luongo that hasn't been said. If he's not nominated for MVP, there's something wrong with the system.

I've spent enough time on the history that was made tonight already... playoffs is where my focus is now. And going 5-2-1 in my last 8 is a great way to get that started. I currently sit 11 points back of the Bolts for that final spot, with over 15 games to go.

Am I going to make it? It'll be tough. You'd better believe I'm gonna give it everything I've got to get there tho.

Yeah the right question was asked on the main page in the game of the week section. The Pens cannot go a game without injury, the sim gods must really hate this team!

The thing is, you find ways to win. You acquired enough depth and are never afraid to complete a trade to solidify your team during injuries. That says a lot about you as a GM. It's good stuff, Goffie.

I agree there is something wrong with the system. Waive his NT and send him back to the GM he loves the best! His best year was with me and the Ducks...Viva La Camero!

Bob Luongo is very hetero. I'd have to trade him to Mango if I have to send him to the 'GM he loves the best'. Giggity, giggity, goo!
